World ending = excellent reason to be a drama queen.
Which I'm not. But if I were, it would be a great reason.

Simon, you're letting your insufferable ego cloud the issue, but that's no surprise I suppose! There is very clearly more at work here than the common criminal, and it is to your detriment that you cannot see that.
Girls, I'm pleased that someone at least can see that immense gravity of the situation! I have conducted some research and asked around the community - I was right in thinking that someone would have a plan for dealing with hypothetical problems such as these.
Judging by the schedule that you found in that diary of yours, I think you need to find yourselves some way of getting to the museum today, regardless of what you might have been told.
My research has indicated that what you need are some keys. Similarly to how most objects can destabilise space time, it seems that keys have the ability to couneract that effect. Older keys work better than newer ones - as most objects become more destabilising with time, keys are the opposite. The longer a key has existed, the better it will work for your purposes. In a museum of old buildings, I would have hypothesised that there would be plenty of old keys around, if you knew where to look for them.
If you can place the keys around the site to cover enough of the area, then even if your mystery man turns up, he won't be able to activate his device. That, I feel, will be a considerable help to you. You will have to spilt up I daresay, and see if you can find someone who looks a little suspicious... if you're correct about the plan on that piece of paper you found, you'll at least know what you should be looking for them to be carrying!
Good luck. I do hope that it isn't already too late...

Well the universe hasn't ended yet, so I'll take that as a good indication that he hasn't been yet! I'll go ring Bea and Cath now, and I think I have a favour I can call in about those keys...
Don't worry, Professor, the universe is in safe hands! And thank you ever so much for your help. We'll do our best.
