I just can't sleep because I'm so excited about this weekend! Bea, Anna and i are going into Birmingham to hit the sales. Shopping! Win! I'm probably a bit weird saying up because I'm so excited about sales, but my wardrobes aren't going to fill themselves with new clothes. What are you all up to this weekend?

And a fabulous shopping trip it was too! Complete with starbucks. Though looking at the weather forecast for the foreseable future, I'm thinking maybe I should have bought that umbrella from Primark.
I think it's a stay at home day tomorrow... I've been told I have to tidy my room. Ugh. As if I'm not too old to be told that.
What are you guys up to?

I envy you guys the shopping trip. Did you get anything cool? Me, I travelled back to the cramped little room I call home during the school year to clear an insane amount of mail out of the mail box and pay bills... Not fun, and now I'm pretty much broke with two weeks until the next pay check, but it needed to be done. I need a roof over my head after all! Tomorrow I might be doing something with a friend, but nothing is really planned - we're both people who rarely plan anything ahead unless we have to, lol. Also, I might try my hand at whipping up something for the banner-making contest...if I have the time.

I bought the cutest little pink bag. 50% off in Next - bargain!
Yay for someone having a go at the banner/logo... I fail I know and I do think it's about time someone else made a better job of it than I managed! After all, I couldn't even get the name right...

Just popped in after a rather enjoyable afternoon at Wightwick Manor, a 1890s house built for a paint manufacturer but with Arts and Crafts decorations by William Morris, William de Morgan and others, and with a later collection of pre-Raphaellite and contemporary paintings collected by the next generation of occupants. Not very well signposted however, so spent quite some time negotiating the suburbs of Wolverhampton, which was less edifying. I hope some of you managed to pack some culture into your free time, I'm afraid I find shopping a tediousness that is necessary but best avoided when possible. The thought of planning a shopping trip for pleasure is inconceivable to me. Sorry to hear your financial straits, liaveekeli, I can only hope they will improve soon. I see elsewhere we've got another of those mysterious documents has been planted by some joker in the wash house now. That's the problem with having relatively open displays.
