Howdy folks!
We thought it'd be nice to have a place where you can all meet us, say hi, that kind of thing. Feel free to add your own introductions into this thread if you'd like to introduce yourselves, or to start your own threads.
I'm Anna Davenport. I read a lot and I love walking and being outside, that kind of thing. I grew up in this big old house in the country, which was where I got interested in all the history stuff. I used to dig in the garden and find bits of old broken plate!
I'm a big football fan and I play abit myself. Currently trying to avoid thinking too much about the World Cup in light of our rather woeful performance!
So, who's next?

Hi! I'm Beatrice Eames, but everyone just calls me Bea, which is pronounced 'bee', you know, like the little buzzy thing. The idea of scrabbling around in the dirt looking for plate is definitely not my cup of tea - I'm no archaeologist, haha! Sorry Anna, but I'll leave that to you. My cup of tea is more... a cup of herbal tea, actually, and a good book. Which isn't to say I'm like, boring or anything. My favourite channel on the TV is either Cartoon Network or Boomerang - I love cartoons! Especially like the classic ones... Scooby Doo, Top Cat... you get the picture. I hum theme tunes a lot. Much to the annoyance of everyone else I'm sure! I'm really looking forward to working on the ASA Project! Hopefully we'll amass some awesome images of Avoncroft for you all to enjoy.

Cathy here! Cathryn Forrest, at your service. This is a brill idea, Anna, to get to know everyone. After all, a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet! Not sure what to say about me really. I love mysteries and puzzles and stuff, which is why I got into history. I love the idea of "solving" something, figuring it out. Maybe that's why I love Sherlock Holmes and LOST so much, haha! So now it's your turn! Say hi, tell us something random about yourselves. Like why you love museums or history, or who your favourite Powerpuff girl is. Anything, really!

Favourite powerpuff girl? Cathy, you have lost it. Though mine's the green one - the one that kicks, well, you know - what's her name? Buttercup or something?

Is she the blonde one? I can only remember Buttercup and the fact she wears green. And that she's really, really cool! Wow, I've not watched powerpuff girls for YEARS...
